How to Use IPTV on Apple TV
Apple TV is fast, stable, and easy to use with its Siri Remote, which makes it an excellent IPTV device. Everything installs from the App Store, so setup is straightforward.

What you need
- Apple TV HD or Apple TV 4K (any generation) on a recent version of tvOS
- An Apple Account signed in on the Apple TV
- Your AtlaTV login details, or an IPTV test
Step 1: Choose a player from the App Store
- Open the App Store on your Apple TV.
- Go to Search and type "IPTV player."
- Compare a few options. Look for Xtream Codes support, a program guide view, and recent updates. Well-known tvOS players include iPlayTV and IPTVX.
- Select Get or the price to install.
Step 2: Add your playlist
Open the player and choose to add a new playlist or source. Select Xtream Codes and enter your server URL, username, and password, or choose M3U URL and enter your link. Many tvOS apps let you type with your iPhone: a keyboard notification appears on your phone when a text field is active on the Apple TV.
Step 3: Browse and set favorites
Once loaded, open the Live TV or guide view. Swipe on the Siri Remote to move between channels, and press and hold to add favorites if the app supports it.

- Match Content: Settings → Video and Audio → Match Content. Turn on Match Dynamic Range and Match Frame Rate for smoother motion.
- Use Ethernet on Apple TV 4K models that have a port. It is more stable than Wi-Fi for live TV.
